Norwalk man indicted in child exploitation case

NORWALK – A Norwalk man has been indicted on 22 federal counts alleging he sexually exploited and attempted to exploit minors online, according to federal court records.

Antonio Diaz Jr. is charged in an indictment filed in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California with sexual exploitation and attempted sexual exploitation of a child, enticement and attempted enticement of a minor, and receipt of child pornography.

The indictment alleges Diaz used the internet and a cellphone to communicate with minors and persuade or attempt to persuade them to produce sexually explicit images and videos.

Prosecutors allege the case involves nine minors, ages 9 to 16, from several states, including Idaho, Massachusetts, Texas, California, Ohio, Vermont and Missouri. The alleged conduct occurred between June and October 2024, according to the indictment.

Diaz allegedly used several online aliases, including “tonyofwgktaa,” “Supremetony6,” “Tonysup96” and “Tonysup12.”

The indictment includes multiple counts tied to specific alleged victims, including accusations that Diaz attempted to sexually exploit minors and received sexually explicit images and videos involving children.

Federal prosecutors are also seeking forfeiture of property allegedly connected to the charged offenses.
