NORWALK – Assembly member Blanca Pacheco is inviting the community to nominate local veterans for her upcoming Veterans Appreciation Awards.

The annual recognition highlights veterans who continue to make an impact after their military service.

Honorees may be recognized for their volunteer work, mentorship, advocacy, leadership, or for serving as role models within the community.

To be eligible, honorees must live in the 64th Assembly District, which includes Norwalk, Downey, Bell, Bell Gardens, Cudahy, East Whittier, La Habra, La Mirada, Santa Fe Springs and South Whittier.

“I invite you to nominate veterans who have made a difference – whether through volunteer work, mentorship, advocacy, leadership, or by simply being a role model in our community,” Pacheco said.

Nominations can be submitted through the Assemblymember’s website.

More information, including eligibility guidelines and the nomination form, is available at a64.asmdc.org/veterans-appreciation-awards.
