WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS PERMIT (WTP) NO. 2025-05

Place: City Council Chambers, Norwalk City Hall, 12700 Norwalk Boulevard, Norwalk, CA 90650

Project Description: For the Planning Commission to consider the following applications filed by John McDonald of Eukon Group, for AT&T (“Applicant”); a request to construct and operate an unmanned wireless telecommunications facility designed as a freestanding 60-foot faux mono-elm tree (WTP No. 2025-05). The Applicant is also proposing to install an eight (8) foot high wrought iron fence to enclose the 165 square foot ancillary equipment area (DAR No. 2025-16). The subject site is 1.17 acres in size and is generally known as 11205 Imperial Highway (also known as Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 8022-035-023), located within the C-3 (General Commercial) Zone.

Environmental Review Information: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), this project will not have a significant effect on the environment per Section 15303 (New Construction of Small Structures). Section 15303 consists of new construction of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures and installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures.

Public Comment: Interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and be heard regarding this matter. Written comments may be submitted to the Community Development Department prior to the time set for the hearing. You may watch the meeting from home on Charter Channel 3, Verizon Fios Channel 32, or livestream through the City’s website. If you challenge the proposed matter, you may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered prior to the public hearing.
