Project Description: For the Planning Commission to consider the following application filed by Beth Aboulafia of Hinman & Carmichael, LLP for Target Corporation; a request to allow the off-site sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits for consumption off the premises where sold (Type 21 ABC license) and ancillary instructional tasting (Type 86 ABC license) within an existing 141,077 square feet department store (Target). The subject site is 10.71 acres in size and is generally known as 12051 Imperial Highway, located on the northwest corner of Norwalk Boulevard and Imperial Highway in the Paddison Square shopping center (also known as APN 8024-024-033), within the General Commercial C-3 Zone.
Environmental Review Information: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), this project will not have a significant effect on the environment per Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) of the CEQA Guidelines. Section 15301 consists of the operation involving negligible expansion of existing use.
Public Comment: Interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and be heard regarding this matter. Written comments may be submitted to the Community Development Department prior to the time set for the hearing. If you challenge the proposed matter, you may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered prior to the public hearing.
