LA MIRADA — Broadway icon Bernadette Peters will bring her legendary voice and star power to the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in a special one-night concert on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 8 p.m.

Presented by La Mirada Theatre and McCoy Rigby Entertainment, An Evening with Bernadette Peters will feature the acclaimed performer singing selections from Broadway’s greatest composers, including Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Jerry Herman.

Peters, a three-time Tony Award winner and Golden Globe recipient, is widely regarded as one of Broadway’s most celebrated leading ladies. Her career spans stage, film, television, and recordings, with credits ranging from Hello, Dolly! and Gypsy on Broadway to films such as The Jerk and Pennies from Heaven. She recently made her West End debut in Old Friends, a tribute to Stephen Sondheim, which later transferred to Broadway in 2025.

In addition to her award-winning stage career, Peters has appeared in numerous television productions, including Apple TV+’s High Desert, NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist—for which she earned an Emmy nomination—and Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle. She has also recorded six solo albums and countless Broadway cast recordings.

Beyond performing, Peters is an advocate for animal welfare. She co-founded Broadway Barks with Mary Tyler Moore, an annual New York adoption event that benefits shelter animals, and recently introduced a similar initiative, West End Woofs, in London. Her philanthropic work earned her the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award.
