Music legend and five-time Grammy Award winner Dionne Warwick is bringing her timeless hits to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts next month.

Discovered in 1961 by songwriting duo Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Warwick has sold more than 100 million records and earned 75 hit singles, including Don’t Make Me Over, Say a Little Prayer, Walk on By, Alfie, and Heartbreaker. She’s been nominated for 14 Grammy Awards and has won for classics such as Déjà Vu, Do You Know the Way to San Jose?, and I’ll Never Fall in Love Again.
In 1985, Warwick helped raise global awareness for AIDS research with the Grammy-winning hit That’s What Friends Are For, recorded with Elton John, Gladys Knight, and Stevie Wonder. She also participated in We Are the World and performed at the historic Live Aid concert.
Warwick was the first African-American solo female artist of her generation to win a Grammy for “Best Contemporary Female Vocalist Performance.” In recent years, she has been honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2017 Marian Anderson Award, and was named “Ambassador to the Smithsonian Institute’s Year in Music” in 2019.
