Chorale Bel Canto announces 2025–26 concert season

WHITTIER – Chorale Bel Canto has announced its 2025–26 concert season, featuring three performances.

The season opens Dec. 6, 2025, with Christmas Fables and Fancies at East Whittier United Methodist Church. The holiday program includes John Rutter’s The Reluctant Dragon and ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, along with carols of the season. A free children’s concert, featuring excerpts from The Reluctant Dragon and holiday favorites, will be held earlier that morning at 11 a.m.

On March 21, 2026, the Chorale presents Two Weddings and a Funeral at First Friends Church in Whittier, performing J.S. Bach’s Cantatas and Motet, written for special occasions. The concert will also include a movement from Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4.

The season concludes May 16, 2026, at St. Matthias Episcopal Church with Masses from Two Worlds, featuring Misa Criolla by Ariel Ramirez and Mass From Two Worlds by Ariel Quintana.
