Man, woman arrested in Norwalk after pursuit ending in crash
NORWALK - A man and a woman were arrested in Norwalk Wednesday after a pursuit that ended in a crash.
Los Angeles Police Department units began pursuing the suspects in a black sedan on suspicion of DUI at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Rosecrans Avenue and Studebaker Road, according to a department statement.
The suspects made their way on surface streets to the area of Imperial Highway and Firestone Boulevard, where the sedan crashed into a yellow Chevrolet Camaro just after 7:40 p.m.
The man and the woman fled the scene of the crash on foot, with one of the suspects attempting to hide in a nearby liquor store. However, authorities quickly apprehended the suspects and placed them under arrest.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
