During his freshman campaign, Winn was voted by his teammates as their Most Improved Player and one of their captains after averaging 9.5 points a game.

Winn will be joining a Vikings team that went 25-6 last season and won the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championship. They qualified for the NCAA Division II West Regional, but were defeated in the first round by the University of San Diego.
