was the legal (proximate) cause of damages to plaintiff. By the following acts or omissions to act, defendant negligently caused the damage to plaintiff
on May 30, 2024
at Telegraph Road and Cord Avenue, Downey, CA 90660
Plaintiff driver was traveling by motorcycle eastbound on Telegraph Road, approaching Cord Avenue. Defendant driver was in a sedan and was traveling north out of a private parking lot at the intersection with Cord Avenue, attempting a left turn to travel westbound on Telegraph Road. As Plaintiff approached, Defendant began to make the left turn without yielding to Plaintiff’s right of way. Plaintiff attempted to stop but was unable to avoid the collision and struck the back portion of Defendant’s car on the left side, causing Plaintiff to be thrown from the motorcycle onto the pavement. As a result, Plaintiff suffered property damage, bodily injuries, loss of wages and earning capacity, and pain and suffering.
