Adults are invited to join origami teacher Peggy Hasegawa on June 17 from 12-1 p.m. at Alondra Library as she demonstrates some simple folding techniques, and, depending on the students, possibly a challenging one as well.
Origami, the ancient art of paper folding, has been recorded in Japanese and Chinese history dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries. All materials will be provided.
The event is free. For additional information, please call (562) 868-7771 or visit the County Library website at colapublib.org.
