Man expected to survive drive-by shooting

NORWALK – A man is expected to survive after he was struck in a drive-by shooting Sunday night.

Authorities said the shooting took place at about 8 p.m. on the 11100 block of Ratliffe Street, between Fairford and Dalwood avenues.

The shooter fired his weapon from a passing car, striking the victim, officials said.

No description of the shooter of the vehicle was released by authorities. A motive is not clear.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition. His name was not released.
